Australian Open Source AI Alliance
A proposed independent, not-for-profit ecosystem organisation focused on open AI collaboration, research, developer engagement, responsible governance, industry adoption and global partnerships — kept legally and financially separate from the commercial platform.
An ecosystem, without ownership confusion
Distinct entities
The Alliance and the commercial company (the investable business) are distinct legal and economic interests. Any related-party arrangement between them is documented on arm’s-length terms with appropriate conflict disclosure.
DNY does not imply exclusive access to the Alliance or its members, and Alliance partners do not endorse the commercial company without a written agreement.
Permitted collaboration
- Joint research and industry programs under documented agreements
- Developer events and technical education
- Industry working groups and standards discussions
- University collaboration and talent development
- Global technology partner engagement
- Demonstration projects and technical sandboxes
